Long Beach Island, NJ (the locals call it LBI) is an 18 mile long island off the coast of New Jersey.

Some hotels and motels are oceanfront or have ocean views. Many of the motels and hotels have recently been
upgraded.
LBI has a vast selection of prices. One can find cozy reasonably priced bed and breakfasts or more
expensive oceanfront hotels. If price is a problem, opt for a motel off the beach.
In any case, LBI has something for everyone.
